The recent publication put forth by Prudential Gallo, REALTORS, compares 2012 against 2011 and shows statistics based on single family homes, both listed and sold, for the period of January through June.  All stats were compiled from the Sussex County Association of REALTORS Multiple Listing Service.

As of June 30, 2012, Sussex County has seen a 25% increase in home sales, with 1,002 single family homes sold, compared to that of 2011, which totaled at 804 homes sold for the 6 month period.  More specifically, the Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island areas had a 27% increase in sales with 221 units sold for 2012, compared to 174 for 2011.  These statistics show signs of a growing Delaware housing market and give a strong indication that the demand for Delaware homes for sale is also on the rise.
