WHYY, Delaware’s public television station, recently visited The Freeman Stage at Bayside for a segment on the music scene in Sussex County. The segment interviews Michelle Freeman about the summer schedule, popularity and future plans for the stage. Music in Sussex County is rooted deep in tradition with outdoor stages in Rehoboth and Dewey Beach drawing large crowds every summer for decades. Bayside’s “New Kid on the Block”, the Freeman Stage, quickly solidified its place in the Sussex summer music scene.

The Freeman Stage is just one of the many wonderful amenities offered at Bayside. The stage has helped Bayside establish many important relationships within the community, and is a big draw for both current and future residents.

Below is a clip of the segment which will start running today. (The player may take a moment to load.)
