There are pools to swim in, kayaks to paddle, exercise classes to take, guests to entertain, errands to run… stop and take a moment for yourself! This is what we learned from meditation student and instructor, Hollee Gritz. By taking a moment to yourself through mindful meditation, you can recharge, refocus, and tackle your day in better spirits, more focused concentration, happier, and with less stress and anxiety. A group of nearly 20 members took a few minutes for themselves at end of the pier at The Point to experience meditation in a guided practice.

With the distant sounds of boats, dragonflies buzzing by, the waves lapping at the sandy beach below the deck, and a voice walking members through a body scan, members were able to release tension, breathe deeply, and be still in their minds, if just for a few moments. There could not be a better spot to meditate within Bayside!
