The Bethany-Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce is working with the State of Delaware in order to provide a safe and fun event for all participants, sponsors, volunteers, and staff. This is a rain or shine event!
The 2021 Fire & Ice Festival will have an “Delmarvalous” theme with sculptures and activities focusing on either a Marvel superhero theme or something specific to the Delmarva region. A complete schedule of events will be posted on FireandIceDE.com.
Ice Facts
How do the sculptures last all weekend, you ask? Well, many of the smaller sculptures will be covered during the day because sunlight is the enemy of the ice sculptures! It penetrates the sculpture, warming it all the way through. But not to worry – the sculptures will be unveiled when the sun sets, illuminated with colored lights for the sculpture tour each evening!
