Witches on surfboards and sandy jack-o’-lanterns are starting to appear around Bayside – it must be getting close to Halloween! Our last blog post featured festive fall events and now we are highlighting some spooky (and not so-spooky) amusements near the premiere Delaware beach community!

Halloween Beach Maze

Come experience all the thrill of the giant Halloween Beach Maze during its two-weekend run.

When: Oct. 21-22 and again Oct. 28-29

Where: N. Division Street on the Ocean City beach

Berlin, MD Ghost Walks

This 1.5 mile Ghost Walk of historic Berlin, Maryland will include enchanting stops and haunting stories led by a tour guide.

Selbyville Halloween Parade

Sea Witch Festival Weekend – Lantern Tours of Indian River Life Saving Station

While you are enjoying the Sea Witch festival for the weekend, continue the Halloween fun with a lantern tour at Indian River Life Station!

When: Friday, October 27th at 7 p.m.

Where: Rehoboth Beach, Delaware State Park. Lantern tours depart every 15 minutes. Reservations required. Call 302-227-6991.

Fantasy Trails at Cape Henlopen State Park

Trails are decorated for Halloween, but aren’t scary. Also featuring singing, juggling and magic.

Trunks for Treats

Decorate your vehicle’s trunk and tailgate for little Trick or Treaters! Children and adults alike are invited to dress as their favorite character or saint! Prizes for best ‘trunk’ and costumes!
