Exciting news, Bayside’s own Bill Freedman hosts The Haze, a weekly radio program of 60s, 70s, and 80s music over community FM station WEES, originating live from just down Coastal Highway.  Drawing upon Bill’s deep knowledge of the music and featuring recordings from his personal collection that he has painstakingly amassed over the past fifty years, he features rare studio and live versions of the familiar classics, as well as tracks from artists of the era not often heard on radio these days. The Haze draws upon this rich era of music in a manner different than the countless oldies stations in this area that restrict themselves to tight lists of overly familiar songs selected by computer from national programming services. Enjoy three solid, commercial-free hours of great, free-ranging music, ready for you to rediscover, along with news and talk, selected and hosted here every Thursday evening from 7 to 10 p.m. on WEES, on your radio at 107.9 or streamed at the link found at WEES.org.
