Harvest Festival
Residents and new home owners in new beach home communities, like Bayside, can enjoy a day filled with fall festivities during the Harvest Festival at the East Coast Garden Center. The event willbe held September 29, 2012 and will be open to the public at 10:00AM. Join the community for 16 Mile beer, brats, country line dancing, hayrides and activities for the kiddos. There will also be the inaugural “Corn to Run” 5K run/walk, which is new this year.
Thanks for Giving Barbeque
The Center for the Inland Bays invites the community to join in for an all-you-can-eat ‘Thanks for Giving Barbeque’ on September 29, 2012 from 11AM-3PM. Attendees will get to enjoy delicious BBQ pork and chicken, oysters, sides, and dessert for only $25 a person (kids 10 and under are free). The event is to celebrate all of the wonderful people in the community, and will include hayrides, pumpkin painting and live music.
Surf Fishing Tournament
For prospective homeowners searching for new beach homes for sale in Fenwick Island DE and enjoy the sport of fishing, it’s time to mark your calendars! The Fenwick Island Fishing Club will be hosting a Surf Fishing Tournament on October 6, 2012. The tournament will be held on the beach between Lewes and Farmington Streets from 7:00a.m.-3:00p.m..
Artisan Festival
The annual Artisan Festival will be held October 6, 2012 from 9AM-3PM on the corner of Coastal Highway and Hollywood St. in nearby Bethany Beach. The event will feature 40+ vendors displaying their different works, of which include jewelry, art work, pottery, glass, metals and more. Lunch and baked good will also be available, and admission is free!
