New this year is the Bayside Institute Wine Club, which features classes independently designed to increase your worldly knowledge and taste of wines. This month, Irena Jones, Level 1 Sommelier, will guide you (and your tastebuds!) through wines from Frank Family Vineyards. Frank Family has called Larkmead Lane their home for winemaking and hospitality since they opened to the public on 4th of July weekend in 1993. But this property has been grounds for winemaking well over 100 hundred years. First established in 1884 as the historic Larkmead Winery, Frank Family Vineyards is now where Great Wine Happens Every Day. Though once home to only sparkling wines, Frank Family Vineyards now produces superb still wines. It’s the third-oldest winery built in Napa Valley, and in many ways, still feels like it once was.
