On Saturday April 27th I had the great opportunity to meet many of our members and homeowners under the tent at Bayside. The weather was beautiful, the attendance was impressive, and the passion ran deep. I loved it. A great setting, A great community, and great people. I hope I was able to articulate our vision for the community and would like to extend a big thanks to Laura and the folks at Troon for coordinating the Town Hall meeting.
It seems we have finally turned the economy around and it’s nice to report Bayside is alive and well. We have you to thank, and hope that together we can embrace several years of growth. We foresee a new town center anchored by fabulous amenities including an indoor pool and recreation center. Retail activity is increasing along Rte 54 with a few new stores coming soon right outside our community. Home sales are picking up, which is a good sign for us all. The new homes will bring in new builders, rising home values, and more community-wide amenities. I will continue to communicate with our residents and members as our vision becomes reality, and I will soon be reaching out to the community as we move forward with design and construction.
On communication between the developer and our homeowners, I heard you loud and clear. You were louder than Caps Fans at the Verizon Center when Backstrom put in the game winner Thursday Night against the Rangers (well maybe not quite that loud). We’ll have many avenues for communication: email us at [email protected], look for regular blog posts like this one, Developer Updates, minutes of our meetings and invites to formal and informal gatherings. I don’t have the events scheduled yet, but it really is at the top of my list. Thanks for your patience, I welcome your input, and embrace your enthusiasm. Live Bayside and Live better…more to come!
