Last night Carl M. Freeman Companies proudly won the prestigious Community of the Year award for Bayside, as well as Best Community Sales Center for the Bayside Welcome Center, and the award of merit for Social Media (Blog, Facebook, Twitter) at the Great American Living Awards (GALA). For more than 50 years, GALA has showcased the building industry’s best and brightest in building, development, architecture, sales, interior design, and marketing metropolitan Washington DC market (MD, DC, VA, DE).
Bayside is the first Delaware community to win the Community of the Year award. To determine the winner of Community of the Year, judges look for the relationship among different land uses, special features, street network, landscaping, home/building orientation to streets, amenities and open space. Judges also consider the website design, advertising, merchandising, and marketing for the community.
