Swim, Play, and Relax

Whether you’re searching for high-octane family fun or the pleasure of quiet reflection, you’ll find it at Bayside. Head to Sun Ridge, center of the action, for swimming, tennis and much more. Kids can frolic in the zero-entry pool and splash zones and enjoy special daily activities just for them. Teens can shoot hoops or grab lunch from the full-service snack bar. Parents and grandparents can catch an aquatic fitness class in the heated 4,000 square foot pool or luxuriate in the waterfall hot tub.

Or, start your day with a healthy walk while the kids bike and scooter. Stroll over to The Commons and enjoy an intimate family picnic by the pool. Play bocce ball, fish stocked ponds, or play a game of checkers in a shady spot.

End the day with a classic Bayside evening activity like our family golf cart drive-in movie or a concert under the stars at The Freeman Stage.

Learn the basics but also experience techniques to help you improve your game. Adults considering USTA membership plus league and tournament play encouraged to participate.

Start your child’s pathway to greatness. The red ball is 75% slower then a normal ball. The rackets are no longer then 23 inches and the court is 36 feet in length. Recommended ages are 5-8. We work on being able to rally, cooperate and we always praise effort.

The orange ball is where the juniors begin to utilize serves, volleys and strategy. The orange ball is only 50% slower then a normal ball. The racket frames increase in length to 25 inches, and the court grows to 60 feet in length. With the orange ball, we utilize the regular net. Recommended ages are 7-10. We work on spins, developing points and covering the court.

The green dot ball is 25% slower and doesn’t bounce as high as a normal ball. Rackets at this level are either 26 or 27 inches long and the entire full 78 foot court is in use. Recommended ages are 10 & up. Green dot balls might be used during this clinic to help with serves or developing power, but depending on who is in attendance, yellow balls may be in use exclusively. In an ideal red – orange – green – yellow ball pathway, players are working on high performance goals in this clinic, including mental toughness, shot selection, placement & endurance.

Take your game to the next level. Match play strategies, positions & situations for singles and doubles will be featured. If you’re already a member of the USTA or playing on a league team, we highly encourage you to come out.\

For our active tournament, league and performance adult players, we offer a clinic where you can learn how to think like the pros. Learn to play the percentages and hit your favorite shot at the same time. Learn to have more fun while being even more competitive, Multi surface point development for singles and doubles will be covered
