When formulating a strategy to attack this beautiful and exciting golf hole, many alternatives present themselves. The silhouette of a singular specimen tree bisects the horizon of the landing area, which results in two distinct angles of approach into the green. The narrower right side of the fairway is protected by an intimidating lake, but yields a preferred angle into the green. A drive to the left side of the fairway might be the safer play off the tee, but results in a more precarious approach shot played back towards water hugging the right side of the green.
