Bayside Settles First Homes in the Community
Ocean View, DE. September 13, 2005 - In just 14 months since Carl M. Freeman Communities lanched Bayside, its newest resort golf community near Fenwick Island, Delaware, the company celebrated the settlement of the first two homes.
“We have reached another milestone at Bayside,” Josh Freeman, president and CEO of Carl M. Freeman Companies said during a ribbon cutting ceremony at the two newly settled homes. “And, it feels great to be able to share this special moment with the new homeowners.”
New Bayside homeowners Christopher & Patricia Morton of Mt. Airy, Maryland are no strangers to Carl M. Freeman Communities as they currently own a home in The Village at Bear Trap Dunes. “Our decision to buy our home was easy because of our past experience and dealings with Carl M. Freeman Communities. We have developed a high level of trust with the company and our expectations have always been met or exceeded with both our homes,” Chris Morton said.
Joseph & Jacqueline Michalski of Annapolis, Maryland also settled on their new home in Bayside. They were thrilled on how beautiful their home turned out. And, more importantly, they are happy that they will be able to share their new Bayside home with their children and grandchildren.
“Bayside has become the most sought after community in lower Delaware,” according to Patti Grimes, vice president of sales & marketing. Home sales in the community continue to climb with 424 homes sold as of August, resulting in over $194 million in property sold since June 2004.
“This is an exciting time for us and the homeowners,” she said. “With more settlements in the coming months and the opening of our resort golf club, we are seeing Bayside come to life.”
