Bayside Celebrates Model Court Grand Opening
OCEAN VIEW, DE. June 29, 2005 – Amid a festive atmosphere of swing music, wine tastings, roving clowns and puppet shows, more than 500 people toured the newly-built model homes in the waterfront golf community of Bayside near Fenwick Island, Delaware during the community’s grand opening on Sunday, June 26.
The grand opening gave Bayside homeowners and the general public an opportunity to see the different architectural styles of the homes in the community. The four single family homes and one twin home awed visitors with their beautifully decorated and designed interiors. “We are thrilled to be able to show everyone that there are many ways to live at Bayside, from simple and carefree to elegant and reserved,” said Patti Grimes, Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Carl M. Freeman Communities.
“What makes a Bayside home so special is the ability of homebuyers to choose the colors, products and features they want in their new home,” Grimes said. “Our Design Center is staffed with professional design consultants who partner with homebuyers to create a home which reflects their individual style and character.”
In addition to touring the new model homes, visitors at the grand opening were given tours of the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course. The 18-hole, par 72 course, which is over 7,000 yards in length, is scheduled to open in August.
“Bayside is the most exciting golf resort community we have designed to date and we are overwhelmed by the response we have received since our initial launch a year ago with close to 400 homes and 80 golf memberships sold already,” said Grimes.
Tours of the Bayside model court are available daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Model home specialists are on hand to guide visitors through the models and answer any questions. Bayside is a master-planned community located off Route 54, just west of the Route 20 intersection. With a mix of home types, a variety of high-end recreational amenities and a town center with retail and office space, this new community is a remarkable place to be enjoyed with your family and friends. Bayside also was designed with over 50% open space, offering protection of the natural resources on the 867 acre property.
