Bayside Celebrates Grand Opening of Townhome Models
SELBYVILLE, DE – April 18, 2006 – Carl M. Freeman Communities’ newest waterfront golf community, Bayside, celebrated the grand opening of its new townhome models on Saturday, April 15.
The more than 250 guests in attendance were able to tour the three new 3-story townhomes and then relax in a beautifully decorated tent enjoying gourmet fare and the jazz sounds of The Joe Baione Group. Special kids’ entertainment included lawn games, making Easter baskets, and visits with the Easter Bunny and Patches the Clown.
Bayside’s townhome models, which range in size from 1,948 sq. ft. to 2,127 sq. ft, are part of the community’s Model Court that also includes single family home models. The townhomes are designed for flexibility with optional spaces that can be used for more bedrooms, offices, or gathering places. When touring the models, visitors will see how the townhomes can be utilized to convey different lifestyles -- whether it’s a young family looking for a second home, a company wanting an elegant corporate retreat or a semi-retired couple who enjoy entertaining.

Bayside, located off Route 54 just west of Fenwick Island, Delaware, features an 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course and will open its Sun Ridge Tennis and Recreational Center this summer. The center will consist of a large outdoor pool and whirlpool, a splash zone for kids, 5 tennis courts, a tennis pro shop, playground, picnic area and more.
